Based on a traditional understanding of Marmas (points) and Nadis (energy lines) on the body, Indian Head Massage was designed to supplement the Western European 'Swedish Massage', which left out the head.

Sukshuma (subtle) Marma Massage applies Ayurvedic principles to the whole body. The touch is extremely light, in contrast to the style commonly practiced in the South of India.
