Modern day Hots Stones therapy was brought to us by Mary Nelson in the early 1990's, with it's popularity and success being partly due to its ability to be integrated into so many other therapies.
Deeply relaxing, it stimulates the lymphatic system, assisting in detoxification and elimination of waste. Hot stones can be placed on, or under, the body for localised effect, or used as a massage tool. Cold stones can also be used in combination to further boost circulation and reduce inflammation. |
